The primary purpose of our Parking Committee is investigating the issues regarding parking on the main UofU campus and how it affects our UUH employees. Our primary goal is to alleviate the financial and mental strain of parking on all UUH employees. We have taken on the responsibility of navigating the complex UofU internal structure and interacting with the UofU and UUH higher ups and decision makers on your behalf.
Our purposes/activities include:
- Sharing the information we have investigated and gathered
- Updating our members on our recent interactions and discoveries
- Gathering "Parking Horror Stories" to narrate and illustrate the parking struggle on main campus
- Publicly highlighting the issue of parking to the people of Salt Lake City who utilize UUH and support our UUH employees
