Jessica Stauffer

I’m Jessica (aka Riverboat Jess) I have worked for the U of U since 2015. I love my job as an acute care resource RN. I got involved with our union in January 2023. I grew up with family members in unions.  My Grandpa in UAW and my Dad in GCIU local 520. My Mom worked at the U and retired with her pension. I have seen employee benefits get chipped away at the U over time and we deserve better. I still would not want to work anywhere else and that is why I got involved with our Union! I would like to help our voices and actions as workers to be heard and actually make changes for a better workplace. In my free time you can find me doing anything outdoors, including white water rafting,skiing and snowboarding. I am always down for an adventure.
