Cheyla Buck

I’m Cheyla (said like Shy-la)! I’ve been a nurse for 2.5 years. The majority of that time was at the Main hospital on E40, otherwise known as the Acute Medical Pulmonary unit. I currently work at the Madsen Community Clinic. I’m originally from Tampa, Florida. I left there in search of a safer and higher quality of healthcare, which I found at the U. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t space for improvement. I’m excited to continue advocating for that improvement as UHWU’s Leadership Development Committee Chair. In my free time I enjoy exploring all that Utah has to offer, especially if water is involved.
